MEET THE FOUNDER
A. CHASE REID
CFA & CFP®
Chase founded Mindful to improve financial outcomes by helping people make better decisions. Recognizing that tech-driven advice has successfully lowered access costs to financial advice and that traditional advice retains an important human connection, Chase saw an opportunity to provide people with the best of both approaches.
Since 2008, Chase has successfully guided countless people, from those just getting started to those with a great deal of wealth, to better outcomes through a genuine and honest approach. Over his career, Chase has provided advice from small boutique firms to large national financial institutions. In addition to his private-sector experience, he has held university positions as a professor of finance and currently serves his alma mater Georgetown University as an Executive in Residence for Wealth Management.
Originally from Texas, Chase now lives in Winston-Salem, NC with his wife Lauren who is a professor at Wake Forest University. They have two daughters. Most days you can find them exploring the outdoors, searching for tasty pastries, or enjoying time with friends and family.
